Opening: collect information first
Begin a practice exchange by watching the attack and the protection you need. A short observation gives you one clear decision to review; a flurry of inputs makes it harder to identify what caused the result.
Choose one response to experiment with. This guide deliberately gives no damage total, stamina cost or input sequence that has not been reproduced in the game.
Counter: connect defense to a response
The developer highlights slipping punches and landing counters. Practice those actions as a relationship: observe the attack, attempt your defense, then try a response. The exact counter trigger is a gameplay question, not something the store description proves.
If the response fails, repeat a simpler attempt against AI and change one decision at a time. Check the current instructions for any counter-specific feedback rather than assuming a fixed timing window.
Reset: do not forget the next exchange
After the attempt, look at your stamina and return your attention to defense. The fatigue slowdown is officially described, so a successful hit is not a reason to stop watching your own state.
A useful practice record has three notes: what you saw, what you tried and what visibly happened. It does not need an invented damage number to help you learn.
Finishing without guessing a guaranteed combo
Cinematic knockdowns are part of the official description, but there is no verified guaranteed finisher in this manual. Do not assume one sequence will end every fight.
Use the replay to inspect the final exchange and look for the same decision errors as earlier in the round: protection, a missed defense or fatigue. A dramatic finish is still a moment you can review.
